Conspiracy of Silence in Health Care and my trials…update.

December 30, 2012

Update: April 9, 2013

Two Hospitals, Two Doctors, one Hernando County Judge Recusal Letter and a trial delay. I have discovered there is a conspiracy of silence in hospitals when errors and omissions are made and are often not reported or talked about.  Medical mistakes are rampant and the national statistics tell the real story and supply the evidence. Buyer beware.

  • DO NOT ASSUME EVERYONE IS WRITING DOWN WHAT REALLY HAPPENED WHEN YOU OBSERVE SOMETHING that concerns you or is obviously an act or omission that is detrimental to the care of your loved one. DON’T ASSUME THE RISK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IS WORKING OR THAT EVERYONE IS DOING WHAT THEY ARE TRAINED AND MANDATED TO DO REGARDING REPORTING.

NO PAPER OR ELECTRONIC TRAIL MAKES IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE LATER TO “DISCOVER” THE TRUTH of what really happened. Don’t wait to personally report concerns to a hospital administrator at the time they occur and have it documented with dates names and times and call the lead doctor personally in the case instead of just informing their PA or DO or residents who stand in for them and find out if it has made it to their records and ask them to explain to you the possible adverse affects. Ask the nurse on duty if they have written it down and get their full name at the time it happens and write it down as to date.  I reccomend that you insist they personally advise you as to the possible adverse results  because you cannot trust the caregivers involved to do their jobs and report everything they see or observe when you voice  concerns to them or explain the adverse possible affects like they are required.

I have found you may only get glazed looks and dead silence instead of open acknowledgement and you will possibly be ignored if you do not insist.  We should not be expected to watch for such things at times of high stress and concern in an area where we are in the hands of experts but my uneducated position at the time and assuming the system was working  has taught me a hard lesson through heartfelt consequences that have left me with lasting memories that are traumatic and may be undocumented or unprovable without a witness being brought forward.

The wrongful death medical malpractice case resulting from the sentinel event death of my husband Herman Krekic who went into Tampa General Hospital for a routine hip revision and came out dead has opened my eyes to a rampant problem in hospital care and a conspiracy of silence among caregivers when something goes wrong!

The laws are written to make it extremely difficult to bring a case fully to light by the added burden of proof and discovery rules of engagement in a medical malpractice case…

Conjoined or separate in form regarding the pursuit of truth or legal nature of the prosecution and discovery of what really happened and what really went wrong, is irrelevant to me, as the bottom line for me is, my husband is dead. The health care system as is,  is revealed as one big failing to protect us system, of apparent fraudulent and deceptive practices with hidden intent, that may or may not be provable with existing evidence, especially if it is not written down by attending caregivers who are responsible for such duties. I am standing in the gap for my deceased husband who has paid the price and for all who may benefit of knowing what I have learned about the “healthcare system, legal system, political system and THE LAWFUL SYSTEM of YHWH our GOD given inalienable and inviolable righteous FREEDOM of speech and pursuit of peace on EARTH which is his and ours.

Deborah Krekic PR Herman Krekic

PS America. If doctors in hospitals are made agents of the state like “state medical school teaching facilities already are and immune from legal medical malpractice DISCOVERY or prosecution, they are the only ones, “protected” from loss not us, we the people. Florida legislators are already discussing this next incremental step in the total loss of healthcare freedom and forced conversion to their mandates for treatement and service.
